Fess Up Friday

I know it's been a while - definitely not because of lack of confessions, but we've been busy around here!

Wednesday was definitely an "off" day for us. Landon and I are both fighting colds, so as a result, he slept in on Wednesday. I had very good intentions of getting him in the bathtub after watching Sesame Street, but I was preoccupied ordering my niece's birthday present on the computer. Next thing you know it's lunchtime and then nap time, so as a result, Landon was in his pajamas until after 4:30 when he woke up from his nap and Alan ended up giving him his bath.

So on Thursday, when it was time to get Landon ready for school, he didn't have any white socks in his drawer (all Alan's fault! He was the last one to do laundry and didn't collect the whites from Landon's room because he was napping at the time. Not a very good excuse because the laundry basket is right inside the door and wouldn't have been hard to get, but anyway...). I put the white socks on Landon that he wore for about 4 hours on Wednesday.

And this last confession probably isn't really a confession since I'm sure I'm not the only one to do it, but here it goes. I'm a list-maker. They help me organize my thoughts of what I'd like to get done/what needs to get done. Since Landon's birthday party is Sunday, I have quite a bit going to do. In my process of making lists today, I also included the simple, basic things so I could feel better about crossing them off my list. And now I can cross write, "Fess Up Friday" post off my list!
